Henhouse
Here is our basic plywood henhouse before I put up the siding today. We hauled all of the lumber for it on the Bikes-At-Work trailer. Unfortunately, we just placed the load over the fenders, and at one point, the load shifted and smashed a fender down onto the tire. Jim Gregory sent me a replacement fender and frame members to replace the pieces that bent. He's now on the list for a jar of honey from our beehive.
The building is much larger than I had pictured a henhose. A four by four floor plan didn't seem so big, but the building is six feet tall in the back. It looks like something I would have tried to live in several years ago. I find that I like just hanging out in there; it will be a shame to turn it over to the chickens.
That's a window my son is peering out of. It is now covered with hardware cloth. Below the window is the door, (closed in the photo), for the hens to come and go.
Now I just have to build the run.

Paul, it's gorgeous! Your hens'll be living in the lap of luxury! I can't wait to see them pecking around their yard.
Congrats!
